Plat Hostel Keikyu Kamakura Wave

I recently stayed at a charming hostel for a week while exploring the area with friends. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and the station, making it easy to navigate. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were friendly, even offering great recommendations for nearby attractions. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfy, and I appreciated the disposable slippers for the pebble-like flooring. Plus, the atmosphere was wonderfully serene, with gentle sounds from the street adding to the local vibe.

A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Fashionable and perfectly clean room, a shower, a hair dryer, and a bidet in the room. Marvellous and excellent location to a train station walk from the hotel...

We had a really great stay at this small hotel. Appreciated our room - it was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. The staff was responsive and responsive to requests. The location was comfy and quiet - just 5 minutes' walk from a shopping mall:)))

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, as it was clean, close to the train station, and just a short walk to the beach and town area. The staff was super friendly and spoke good English, making check-in and check-out easy. I also loved the rooftop terrace where I could relax after a long day.

The stay was decent, primarily for exploring local attractions like the beach and the nearby Komachi Street, which have awesome shops and sights. I appreciated the comfy bed in my Double Room and the clean bathroom facilities that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Being close to the Kamakura Station was convenient for getting around. Although the pebble-textured floor was interesting, I found the slippers provided helpful for comfort.

The capsule beds offered ample space and comfort. The cleanliness of the facilities stood out, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. Renting bikes nearby was a game-changer, great to explore local attractions effortlessly. Unfortunately, the bright street lights made it challenging to sleep soundly, and noise from the outside occasionally disrupted the tranquility. It would be great if the hostel provided more soundproofing in the rooms.

The private double room offered a great bathroom and shower, providing comfort after a long day. Adequately designed common areas contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The amenities are satisfactory for a work stay.

Bright street lights made sleeping difficult.

The mixed dormitory had such a horrible smell, it was unbearable. Good luck sleeping with the bright street lights outside- ruined my experience. I almost left a nice review but there was no complimentary upgrade or welcome gesture to was nice. What a shame, really! This place could've been so much better.

Just a fitting option for a cursory stop in Kamakura with great value for money. The shared lounge was a cozy spot to unwind after exploring. Be aware of possible noise from the outside.

I really enjoyed my stay! The shared lounge and balcony were cozy spots to relax after a day exploring, and my room was quite compact yet comfortable, with everything I needed. Plus, it was just a short walk to the station. I found the bed could be improved for extra comfort, as it wasn't very plush.

Stayed in a double room that was really cool looking. the staff were super friendly the whole time we were here, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. the location is top-notch, you can easily walk to check out Slipstream Sculpture. 🚶‍♂️.

Oh dear, the room was smaller than my ambition, and the duvet reminded me of a feather-I'm still cold! Just a heads up, street lights seemed to be auditioning for the role of my personal nightlight.
